Long time no speak

So I realize that I haven't made a post in a very long time. What I also know however is that not many people care, at least as far as I know. If you do follow this blog or like it or have been reading it then I do apologize for not posting in almost a year. A lot has happened in that time.

So the first band Meaningless Masquerade ended up dissolving, I then made a new band with a couple of friends but that ended up not working out as well.

I took Rock Camp again where a couple of friends from the year before and a new friend we made decided to form a band. We're called Sick Teens and I will tell you who we are comprised of  once I ask the others if they mind being mentioned or not. I'm really excited because we all get along well and I think it will work out very well.

So those are the main band things that happens since I last posted. Another thing that happened is that I got accepted to all three university programs I applied to! I'll most likely be going to Carleton for Journalism, and I'm super excited about that. 

Well those are the biggest things that have happened so far, and I can't wait until I can update you guys on more!

A bunch of shizz happened

Man, I almost forgot I had this. Sorry about that guys. So since the last time I talked the drummer left (I forget if I told you guys that or not) and the bassist has been kicked out for certain reasons that I will not disclose. We have however found a new bassist who will be joining is and are still looking for a drummer in our age range. We have posted a cover of Holiday by Green Day (back when we had the first bassist) and are working on some more covers as well as original songs. We took a step backwards with our lineup issues but we are now moving forward. I can't wait to make more music for you guys and can't wait until we start playing shows. I'll try to keep you guys more updated now that I've remembered about this blog. Thank you for any and all support, any of you guys who are actually interested mean the world to me. Even if you aren't too interested in my band or any of the things I'm talking about, I hope you have a great day and I wish you the best of luck with all of your hopes and aspirations.

Long time, no speak

It been a while hasn't it? I'm sorry about that I just got so busy. I had a bunch of family get together a and lost track of time. Now that it's the holiday I realized that I should make another post. So first of Happy Holidays, and second Happy New Years Eve! In regards of the band I'm in, we finally have decided on a name. We are: Meaningless Masquerade
I'm really glad that we've decided on a name and a name so bad ass too! We still don't have any shows coming up but we are choosing new songs constantly to cover.
I can't wait until the day that I can announce to you guys a show time! It's going to be so much fun. I hope enough people will be willing to come along for the ride, if not it doesn't matter too much because I enjoy making and playing music in general, I just want to be able to have a chance to impact people's lives positively. Anyways, I'm kind of rambling now.
Long story short, the band I'm in has a name now but still no shows because we aren't ready for them yet. Thank you for taking the time to actually read what I decide to say, it means a lot that some people care for these posts.

My fever only got worse today :( it's 100.4 and I really wish it could just leave!

I feel sick :(

Uggghhhh, I feel like just lying on my bed forever but I really want to get some tea at the same time but if I stand up to get tea my head hurts a lot and my chest and throat hurt when I cough and I think I'm getting super sick. I just hope I get better before next weekend because I most likely will have band practice next weekend but seeing as I'm the singer I won't be able to do much if I cough every minute or so and can't sing etc... :( bleh

So the school musical cast list was posted today and...

I got in the school musical!!! It's called Zombie Prom and I'm a chorus kid and the Announcer!!! I'm so excited for it! I think I'm most likely going to use a Dr. Death Defying voice :) how are your days?

Just a small update for today :)

So, even though I only started this today I feel like I should keep an update at least on the band I'm in... So, I'm currently practicing Holiday by Green Day, Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, and some Escape The fate song. We've only had a couple practices so no shows are coming up yet but eventually there most likely will be some locally in Ottawa :)
